I'm Amanda — a writer and content strategist from British Columbia, Canada.

I specialize in technology, science, and the environment.

A writer with a passion for communicating the mysteries of the environment, the technology that helps us understand it, and the reason why you should care about it all, too.

After completing my BSc. in Environmental Science, Certificate in Spatial Information Systems, and Advanced Diploma in GIS, I wound up writing on a digital marketing team about spatial data. It was a great way to combine both the technical and creative sides of my brain and I loved having a reason to explore new trends, big topics, and challenges others face.

Writing has since become a medium I've taken a deep dive into. Freelancing for clients and pitching to publications has been an extremely rewarding and exciting experience.

When I'm not writing, you can find me climbing rocks, playing with paint, or wandering different areas of beautiful British Columbia.
